Victorian ruby and diamond ring, hallmarked Birmingham 1892
This pretty ruby and diamond two-row ring handcrafted in 18-carat yellow gold is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1892.
All the gemstones are bright and well matched. And the mount remains in excellent unworn condition – which is not always the case, especially for more delicate antique rings like this.
This means it’s probably not an everyday ring – unless you are very careful with your jewellery. Nor should it be worn against another ring.
This will preserve the crisp condition of the deeply carved shoulders. A lovely detail, they extend the visual interest across the band.
